EV price only 4.79 lakhs
Mumbai-based EV startup PMV Electric has launched its first electric car in India, the EAS-e. The nano-sized EV is now officially the most affordable electric vehicle in India, priced at Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom). PMV Electric has already completed around 6,000 bookings for the EaS-E Nano electric car. This electric car can now be booked for an amount of Rs 2000.
Sitting Capacity & Lighting
Talking about the lighting in the PMV EaS-E, it has circular headlamps and an LED light bar, which covers this EV from a long distance. It has a funky look with slim LED lamps. The PMV EaS-E is also the smallest electric car to be bought in the country. It can seat two adults and one child at a time.
Micro electric car features
The feature list of the micro electric car includes a digital infotainment system, a USB charging port, air conditioning, remote keyless entry and remote park assist.
Charging Time and Range
The PMV EaS-E can deliver up to 200 km of range on a single charge, while at least 160 km of range is being promised by the EV maker. The EV will be fully charged in less than four hours.
Motor power and top speed
This EV will be able to generate maximum power of 13 hp and peak torque of 50 Nm. In terms of speed, this EV offers a top speed of 70 kmph. The company claims the speed of 0 to 40 kmph for this EV within 5 seconds.
When will be the delivery?
PMV Electric is currently in talks with partners to set up its plant in Pune. Along with ramping up production, the company will start delivering the EV to its customers by June-July next year.
