BPSC 70th Notification 2024: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is going to release the notification of 70th Combined Competitive Examination very soon. The commission can release the recruitment advertisement between 15th to 18th September. The commission has also announced the tentative date of the preliminary examination. It will be held on 17th November.
The commission has received requisitions for 1100 vacancies from various departments so far. Many more departments will also send vacancies. This time there is a possibility of around 1500 vacancies on various posts including DM and DSP.
How many vacancies will there be?
Through the 70th Combined Competitive Examination of BPSC, there will also be recruitments for posts like DEO, RDO and BPRO. As per the information so far, there will be 200 vacancies for SDM, 130 to 140 for DSP, 400 for RDO, 287 for CO, 49 for Urban Development Department. Who can apply for the 70th examination of BPSC?
To appear in the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC CCE) of Bihar Public Service Commission, one must have a graduation degree. Talking about the age limit, the maximum age for general category candidates is 37 years. Whereas OBC can participate in it up to the age of 40 and SC / ST up to the age of 42. The age limit for women of General and OBC category is 40 years and for women of SC ST category is 42 years. The minimum age limit for candidates of all categories is 21 years.
What is the physical criteria to become DSP in Bihar Police?
- The height of male candidates of General and OBC category should be minimum 5 feet 5 inches.
- The height of female candidates of General and OBC category should be minimum 5 feet 2 inches.
- The height of female and male candidates of SC/ST category should be minimum 5 feet 2 inches.
- The chest of male candidates of General and OBC category should be 32 inches without expansion.
- The chest of male candidates of SC/ST category should be 31 inches without expansion.
- The chest of women of any category will not be measured.
