Brahmastra confirmed 250 crores! Rs 75 ticket got the third week off to a great start

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ has remained comfortable at the box office for two weeks now. Whenever it seems that the film’s earnings are getting weak now, only then the public again reaches the crowd to watch the film. The amazing thing is that despite the arrival of new films in theaters on Friday, ‘Brahmastra’ earned the most.

Ayan Mukerji’s film ‘Brahmastra’ is earning much better than the expectations of Bollywood’s business experts, box office pundits and fans. Released in theaters on September 9, when the film earned more than Rs 120 crore in the first weekend itself, it was decided that its earnings were going to be strong.

But during the working days of the week, the film’s earnings started eating dives, so it seemed that the film might not last long. But after two weeks, the box office figures are not only completely in favor of ‘Brahmastra’ (Brahmastra Box Office Collection), but the third week has started very strong. The Multiplex Association of India celebrated National Cinema Day on Friday, 23 September and the ticket price for each movie was Rs 75 in more than 4000 screens across the country.

The purpose of this special day was to celebrate the fandom of cinema, but ‘Brahmastra’ benefited the most. Friday’s box office figures have come out and are proof that Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt’s film will comfortably earn Rs 250 crore in the third week.

Friday’s Earnings

‘Brahmastra’ has done a business of about 11 crores at the box office on Friday (Brahmastra Third Weekend Collection). The collection of this film, which earned a little over Rs 230 crore in the end in two weeks, has crossed Rs 241 crore including Friday’s earnings. Out of this, only the collection of Hindi version is believed to be close to Rs 10 crore. The funny thing is that as soon as the ticket price of multiplexes came down to Rs 75, the public first filled the shows of ‘Brahmastra’. Reports say that on the day of National Cinema Day, about 13 lakh people have seen ‘Brahmastra’ in theaters.

Saturday advance booking

There was a special offer behind the vigorous advance booking of ‘Brahmastra’ on Friday, but there is no such offer on Saturday. However, for Saturday also, more than one lakh tickets of the film have been booked in advance. The gross collection of ‘Brahmastra’ from Saturday’s advance booking is about Rs 2.44 crore. According to the trend, the film can collect a little more than Rs 4 crore on Saturday. Even a little bit of rain in Delhi NCR can cause little damage to the film and the walk-in audience will reach less.

Third week maths and ‘The Kashmir Files’

The third week of ‘Brahmastra’ (Brahmastra Week 3 Collection) has started at the box office on Friday. So far about 241 crores, according to Saturday’s estimates and trends, the earnings on Sunday indicate that the collection of ‘Brahmastra’ can cross the 250 crore mark by Wednesday. Now the interesting thing for cinema fans will be whether ‘Brahmastra’ in its third week, will be able to cross the India collection of ‘The Kashmir Files’, the biggest Bollywood film of 2022? Vivek Agnihotri’s film had collected a little more than Rs 252 crore in India.

The journey of ‘Brahmastra’ in the fourth week at the box office will be very difficult as two big films ‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ Part 1 are releasing on 30th September, cinema screens are going to be divided between these two and in such a situation. Chances of ‘Brahmastra’ surviving in theatres will be very less.
