Many people had taken BSNL SIM in July due to the expensive recharge plans of private companies. This government telecom company has prepared to start 4G service across the country, and 4G is already running in many states. BSNL has many cheap recharge plans in which data is also available along with unlimited calling and SMS.
BSNL Rs 997 recharge plan
One of these special plans is Rs 997, in which you get validity of up to 160 days and a total of 320GB data. This plan offers 2GB high-speed data and 100 free SMS daily. Apart from this, you can avail free unlimited calling on any network and free roaming across the country. This plan also has many good features like Hardy Games, Zing Music and BSNL Tunes.
BSNL 5G testing started
BSNL is not only focusing on 4G but is also preparing to launch 5G service. The government telecom company has installed many new mobile towers in all telecom areas for 4G service and has started testing 5G networks. It is expected that BSNL will start 5G service in the coming months.
Apart from this, MTNL customers in Delhi and Mumbai will soon be able to get 4G service, as MTNL plans to use BSNL’s 4G infrastructure. This announcement was made in the board meeting held on Wednesday (August 14, 2024). The 10-year service agreement has a provision for mutual cancellation with a notice of at least 6 months. This partnership is expected to directly benefit a large number of customers in the country’s capital and economic center.
