BSNL has been in the news ever since private telecom companies increased mobile tariffs. In the last one month, lakhs of users have ported their numbers to BSNL. The government telecom company is currently offering 2G and 4G services. However, the company has so far officially launched 4G service only in some telecom circles. Most of the BSNL users have complaints of network connectivity, due to which more than 85 percent of the users are using the network of a private telecom company.
