Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced to offer lifetime validity. The company will allow lifetime validity to all prepaid mobile connections under its C-Top Up category. C-Top up prepaid mobile connections are special category mobile connections. BSNL retailers and Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) use these for recharge / top-up or bill connection.

however, there is a screw in the lifetime validity. BSNL retailers or DSA will have to do at least one transaction or recharge every 90 days. This means that if a connection does not have transactions and remains inactive, then the company will delete or close all such inactive C-Top up connections. This revised validity condition for BSNL’s C-Top up connections will come into effect from 18 January 2021 and is applicable to all circles. This has been said in a report by KeralTelikom.

speeding up the business The state-run telecom company has said that C-Top up connections coming in Grace Period-II can be re-activated with Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) like normal retail customers. Similarly, top-up recharge will not be allowed for customers with C-top up grace period-II. BSNL has taken this decision to increase sales and marketing activities through its franchise network.
BSNL is constantly trying to add new customers and retain existing customers. The company is bringing plans with excellent benefits. The company recently announced a 10% discount to government employees in landline, broadband and Bharat Fiber Services from 1 February 2021.
