BSNL Rs 198 and Rs 499 prepaid data vouchers have been revised to offer additional benefits to users. The revision in these plans will be effective starting today i.e. June 1st. Notably, the Rs 198 BSNL prepaid plan is a data voucher, whereas the Rs 499 BSNL prepaid plan offers data, calling, and SMS benefits to its users.
With the BSNL Rs 198 prepaid plan, the PSU is offering extended vaidity and complimentary Lokdhun content. On the other hand, the Rs 499 prepaid plan is now offering double the data benefit to its users. Lers take a look at the revised benefits of these two plans from the telecom operator.
BSNL Rs 198 prepaid data voucher now offers 50 days validity
As mentioned before, the Rs 198 BSNL prepaid recharge plans is a data voucher. Previously, the plan offered unlimited data with speed reduced to 40Kbps after 2GB/day, free BSNL tunes, and 45 days of validity. After the revision, the plan comes with a validity of 50 days and free Lokdhun content instead of BSNL Tunes. The data benefit remains the same. The revised benefit is already effective across all the telecom circles.
BSNL Rs 499 prepaid voucher now offers double data benefit
The BSNL Rs 499 prepaid vocuher now offers 2GB data per day instead of 1GB per day. Other benefits remain the same including 90 days validity, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMSes per day. Additionally, users get free BSNL Tunes subscription and Zing Music app subscription for 90 days. The free unlimited calling and SMS benefit is applicable pan India including MTNL areas of Delhi and Mumbai.
