BSNL has regularized its broadband plan of Rs 499. In this plan, up to 1TB of high-speed data will be given at 50 Mbps speed. After the end of the date, the internet speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps for the whole month.
New Delhi. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has regulated its broadband plan of Rs 499. In this plan, up to 1TB of high-speed data will be given at 50 Mbps speed. After the consumption of Fair-Use-Policy (FUP) data, which in this case is 1 TB, the internet speed will drop to 2 Mbps for the entire month. Earlier this plan was offering 50 Mbps speed with 200GB data. But now that the data limit has been increased to 1TB. Apart from this, BSNL will also provide users with a free voice calling connection, which will come with virtually unlimited voice calling benefits at no extra cost.
BSNL Rs 499 broadband plan offers 1TB data
According to a report by Kerala Telecom, BSNL had dropped the offer of 100GB data to its pan India Rs 499 broadband plan in November 2021. Following this, the state-run telco had announced plans for Kerala only, offering 200GB data for Rs 499 to users.
Plan is only for Kerala circle
Another report from the publication has confirmed the regularization of the Rs 499 broadband plan which will now offer 1TB data and all the other benefits mentioned above. Note that this plan has been announced only for Kerala Telecom circle. No other additional benefits are provided with this plan.
Airtel’s plan is also great
This plan of BSNL offers more speed as compared to the broadband plan of Rs 499 of Bharti Airtel. However, Airtel’s plan comes with 3.3TB of monthly FUP data along with Airtel Thanks benefits, which is much more than what BSNL is offering. So if you are someone who needs only 1TB of data, then BSNL’s broadband plan of Rs 499 in Kerala is the right option. However, if you want more data but can work at 40 Mbps speed, then Airtel’s plan can also be a good option for you.
