How to get a fancy number from BSNL
Step 1: First of all, open the link http://cymn.bsnl.co.in/ on your mobile or computer.
Step 2: By going to the website, you have to select your state and zone, where you want to avail this service.
Step 3: Now a table will open in front of you, in which all the available numbers of BSNL will be shown. There will be two columns here – one will have normal choice numbers and the other will have fancy numbers.
Step 4: You can choose the number of your choice.
Step 5: For this, you will get options like series, start number, end number or sum of the numbers.
Step 6: Choose the number as per your choice and click on the Reserve Number option.
Step 7: Now you have to enter your mobile number so that you can get a PIN code (OTP).
Step 8: BSNL will send a 7-digit PIN code to your mobile number, which will be valid for 4 days.
Step 9: Now you have to contact BSNL customer care or any nearest BSNL service branch.
Step 10: Go there and pay the fixed fee for the fancy number and complete all the formalities.
What are the guidelines?
A customer can choose only one VIP number at a time. You have to pay immediately after booking the number. This facility is available only for BSNL GSM (SIM card based) customers. The 7-digit PIN sent by BSNL will be valid for 4 days. Other companies like Jio, Airtel, Vi (Vodafone-Idea) also offer VIP numbers to their customers, but they have different procedures.
