Focus in electoral states
The Finance Minister said that more than 13 thousand km of roads have been awarded under Bharat Mala Project. 3800 km have been constructed so far. 8500 km of roads will be awarded by March 2022. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the National Highway Project (1.03 lakh crore) in Tamil Nadu, will be built in this Economic Corridor. 65 thousand crore national highway will be built in Kerala too, has announced Mumbai-Kanyakumari Economic Corridor. In West Bengal too, a national highway project has also been announced for Kolkata-Siliguri. Finance Minister announced highway and economic corridor in Assam in next 3 years.
railway
The Finance Minister said that the National Rail Scheme 2030 is ready. A total budget of Rs 1.10 lakh crore has been given to the Railways. Assets of the railways’ detached freight corridor will be sold. Three new rail corridors will be built
Lightning
The power minister was also announced by the Finance Minister. More than three lakh crore rupees scheme is being launched by the government, which will work to strengthen the power connected infrastructure in the country. A hydrogen plant has also been announced by the government. In the power sector, many projects will be completed under PPP model.
Health
15 health emergency operation centers will be started across the country. 9 Bio Safety Level 3 labs will start. Nutrition will also be given attention. Mission Nutrition 2.0 will be launched. Will also increase water supply. 2.87 lakh crores will be spent in 5 years. Water life mission will be launched for urban areas. 1.48 lakh crore will be spent in 5 years on the Urban Clean India Mission. The pneumococcal vaccine will be introduced nationwide. With this, the lives of 50 thousand children will be saved every year.
Two-way metro
Focus will be on increasing metro, city bus service. A cost of Rs 18 thousand crore will be imposed for this. Now the emphasis is on bringing metro lights. It was announced to promote the metro project in Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, Nagpur, Nashik.
Infrastructure
The Development Financial Institute is needed for the infrastructure sector. A bill will be brought for this. 20 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this so that a landing portfolio of 5 lakh crore rupees can be created in 3 years. The focus will be on monetizing the public infrastructure. National monetization pipeline will be launched. A dashboard will be made to see the progress being made in this case. National highways authorities will also attract international investment. Monetization will be taken care of in whatever airport will be built next.
