Finance Minister is presenting the 8th consecutive budget

Let us tell you that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has once again presented her eighth budget through a digital tablet wrapped in a traditional ‘bahi-khata’ style bag. In 2021, affected by the global pandemic, she used a digital tablet instead of traditional papers to carry her speech and other budget documents. This budget is the 14th consecutive budget under the Narendra Modi government since 2014, including two interim budgets presented before the general elections in 2019 and 2024.
