The National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) has given great news about the bullet train corridor. Bridges are to be built on 20 rivers between the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor. The latest update is that the construction of 12 of these bridges has been completed. Now only the construction of eight bridges is left. Along with this, the construction work of a 21 km long tunnel has also started. Of these, 7 km of tunnel is to be built inside the sea. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor is 508 km long.
Officials said on Sunday that bridges are to be built on 20 rivers between the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor. Work on 12 of these has been completed. The 12th bridge has been built on the Kharera river in Navsari district. This bridge is 120 meters long, the construction work of which has been completed recently. Let us tell you that 352 kilometers of the bullet train corridor falls in Gujarat and 156 kilometers in Maharashtra. NHSRCL is trying to start the operation of bullet train in some parts of Gujarat in the coming few months. Keeping this in view, the construction work is going on in full swing.

Land acquisition work completed in Gujarat
NHSRCL said that the land acquisition work for the Gujarat part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Corridor has been completed. By 21 October 2024, all 1389.5 hectares of land was acquired. Also, NHSRCL said that the construction work of all 12 stations is also going on at a fast pace. The work of construction of a 21 km long tunnel has also been started. Let us tell you that a 7 km long tunnel is to be built inside the sea. For this, a special cutter machine is being used.
