Actually, Swati was already fond of cooking and during lockdown she thought about making cakes. After this he tried it with YouTube and in a couple of times he learned to make cake. Now Swati makes such a good cake that everyone likes their cake and in Jodhpur people from far away also like to eat their cake. Actually, people are liking her design with the test of her cake, because she is now paying more attention to the theme cake and her demand is also enough. Now they get a lot of orders and they are earning well from it.
How the cake business started
Swati says, ‘I made the cake at home during lockdown and its design was unique. After seeing the photo of the cake I made, my relatives asked me to make it in lockdown. In July, I made a cake for someone for the first time as a client. After this, photos of my cake reached people and people started ordering me cakes. I had never thought of this before, but now people got a good response, then I started this business from home.
How was publicity?
Swati told that when she started making cakes, she put this photo on social media or whatsapp states. Swati told, ‘After this people came to know about it and they forced me to make cake for themselves. After this I made a cake for my relatives or friends and then they showed more people or other people came to know from their WhatsApp states or social media. Due to this, this chain was formed.
How much income?
Swati is doing this work part time with a hobby. He has created an Instagram and Facebook page for this, through which people are connecting. Now they get 2-3 cake orders every day and the rate of one cake is between 700 and 1500. In this, Swati takes more money for the theme cake. Swati is now doing this with her household work and she is earning well in this business started at home. Also, as people come to know about them, their orders are increasing and business is going well.
Let me tell you that Swati has done PhD in HR and she never thought about baking field. But now she is doing business, in which her husband and her family are also supporting her.
