New Delhi. If you want to do business then this news is for you. This is a business that can be started at a low investment and the profit in this business is also high. You can start rabbit farming business with an investment of about 4 lakh rupees. This business is beneficial because rabbit meat is more available in the market. At the same time, it is also reared for wool made from its hair. Let’s know how you can earn a regular income by rearing rabbits on a small scale.

4 lakh rupees will be spent –

this business of rabbit farming has been divided into units. A unit consists of seven female and three male rabbits. Suppose the initial level for farming is kept at 10 units, then it costs about 4 lakh to 4.50 lakh rupees. This includes about 1 to 1.50 lakh rupees of tin sheds, cages 1 to 1.25 lakh rupees, fodder and about 2 lakh rupees spent on these units.

Male and female rabbits are ready for breeding after about 6 months. A female rabbit gives birth to 6 to 7 babies at a time. The pregnancy period of the female rabbit is 30 days and in its next 45 days, the baby is ready to be sold after it is about 2 kg.

This will be like earning –

on an average there are 5 children from a female rabbit, in this way 350 children will be made in 45 days. The unit of rabbit is capable of producing children in about six months. There is no need to wait for 6 months in these. A batch of children prepared in 10 days from a 10-unit rabbit is sold for about 2 lakh rupees. They are sold for farm breeding, meat and wool business and a female rabbit gives babies at least 7 times a year.

But taking into account the mortality rate, mortalities, diseases etc., assuming an average of 5 pregnancy period, then rabbits worth Rs 10 lakh are sold in a year, whereas if the expenditure on fodder is Rs 2 to 3 lakh, then net profit of Rs 7 lakh can be earned. However, in the initial year, if you take out a total investment of Rs. 4.50 lakhs in it, then even then there is an income of Rs. 3 lakhs.

Businesses can also start by taking franchisees –

if there is no ability to take much risk, then new people have the option to take franchisees from many large farms. Through this, all types of training will be imparted from rabbit breeding to marketing.
