CAA Mobile App: The Union Home Ministry has launched a mobile app. In this, it will be very easy to apply under CAA. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Central Government website. Through this app, only minority Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh can apply online for Indian citizenship.
CAA Mobile App: The rules of Citizenship (Amendment) Act have come into force in India from March 11. For this, the Union Home Ministry had launched a web portal (CAA Portal). Now after this, the Union Home Ministry has launched a mobile app named ‘CAA 2019’. This app provides the facility to apply for Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)-2019. This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store on mobile. After this, whoever wants Indian citizenship can also apply online through this app.
Through this app, only minority Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh can apply online for Indian citizenship. For this, only those minority people are eligible, who came to India before 31 December 2014.
How to apply for citizenship
Through this new web portal and app, people can get details of all the rules, regulations, questions and documents to get Indian citizenship. Apart from this, people can also get online help through this platform. The refugee will first have to visit this online portal or app of the Government of India launched for CAA. As soon as you open this platform, you will get all the information about this new law. Scroll down after reading them. In the section of online services, you will find a link to get citizenship through CAA, click on it. After clicking it, a new page or interface will open. Now you have to log in. For this you can enter your phone number or email ID.
How much will it cost to apply?
This app can be downloaded from Indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in. Fill online form for citizenship. For this, online payment of Rs 50 will have to be made. After applying, you will receive an acknowledgment electronically. People applying for citizenship must have their email ID and mobile number.
