Can any mobile app reveal real and fake notes! RBI gave its complete information

Often people ask the question, can an app know the real and fake banknote? The Reserve Bank of India has given its complete information.

The government issued a new note of Rs 2,000 after demonetisation. According to the annual report of the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB), the maximum number of fake notes that were caught last year was only Rs 2,000. In such a situation, the difficulties of the common man then increase. Whenever a 2000 rupee note came from a bank ATM. For this reason, customers always ask the same question by going to banks whether there is an app that can detect fake and real notes. Regarding this, the RBI has now given information on its website.

RBI says that Mobile Aided Note Identifier (identifier of note with the help of mobile phone) – (Mani) is an app. But this app is for the visually impaired. After installing this free application, no internet is required.

This application is able to identify the denomination of Mahatma Gandhi series and Mahatma Gandhi (new) series of banknotes by examining the front or back / part of the note.

It can also identify half-folded notes captured from different angles under different lighting conditions (normal light / daylight / low light etc.). Let us tell you that this mobile application does not prove the origin of any note or fake.

Let’s know about RBI’s MANI app…
Last year, the Mobile Aid Note Identifier (MANI) app was launched by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the visually impaired. This app will help the visually challenged to know which denomination the denomination belongs to.

Many such features are present in the Indian note, which helps the visually impaired to identify them. These include its printing, note size, pattern etc.

The advancement of technology has increased the accessibility of Indian notes to the blind. This will facilitate them in daily transactions. On 6 June 2018, the statement of the Development and Regulatory Policy of the Reserve Bank was announced about the MANI app.

With the help of this app, it helps to identify the denomination of Mahatma Gandhi series and Mahatma Gandhi (New) series, that is, how much rupees it is. This will be identified by checking the front or back of the note. It can have half-folded notes and identification in any light situation.

The MANI app itself provides note information
In this, information is given about how much the note is through audio notifications. This audio is in both Hindi and English languages. Vibration mode is available for those who have hearing loss.

This mobile application can be navigated through voice control. The operating system supports voice enabled control so that you can use the features of the application.
