This step was taken by the zone at the behest of the Railway Board. Railways releases the timetable of the train before June 30 every year, which is known as ‘Train at a Glance’ (TAG). This TAG is effective from July 1 to June 30 next year. A Railway Board official said, ‘The Railway Board is reviewing the timing and operational status of the train. The board wants to make it more efficient, so the date for issuing the new timetable has been extended to January 1, 2025. Till then the old timetable will remain intact.’
