You can withdraw cash without an ATM card through UPI. To take advantage of this, the ATM cash withdrawal system has been upgraded to Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW). With its help, you can withdraw cash from an ATM without using a debit or credit card. But for this, your smartphone must have a UPI enabled app like BHIM, Paytm, GPay, PhonePe etc.

How to do cardless withdrawal

  • First of all, go to the ATM and choose the cash withdrawal option.
  • After choosing the Withdraw Cash option, you will have to select the UPI option on the ATM screen.
  • After this, the QR code will be shown on the ATM screen.
  • Open the UPI payment app in your phone and scan the QR code by turning on the QR scanner code.
  • After scanning, select the amount, click on the Proceed option.
  • Meanwhile, you will have to enter the UPI PIN, enter it and do the cash transaction.
  • This facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all over India.
