This payment service is completely based on Aadhaar system. Through this, any person can do transactions using his biometrics. For this, it is necessary to link the bank account with Aadhar card. Apart from cash withdrawal, balance inquiry and account details can be done through this facility.

Cash request process

To get cash sitting at home, first of all you have to go to the website of India Post Payment Bank and apply. After this the postman will reach the customer’s home with the micro ATM. The customer will have to use only biometrics. Aadhar card will not be required. The postman will deliver the cash as soon as the identity is verified. This money will be deducted from the customer’s bank account.

How much will be charged

According to India Post Payment Bank, no fee will be charged from customers for asking for cash at home. However, the bank may levy service charges for using this door step service.

Will be able to ask for this much amount at one time: National Payments Corporation has fixed the maximum transaction limit per AEPS transaction at Rs 10,000.

Customers have to choose the right bank for the transaction. The amount will be deducted from the primary account only. If wrong Aadhaar details are entered or wrong bank is selected then the transaction will be declined.

First of all, go to the website (https://ippbonline.com) and select the option of door step banking. Here you enter your name, mobile number, email ID, address, pin code, the nearest post office near your house and the name of the bank in which you have an account.

After this you have to click on the option of I Agree. After this, the postman will reach your home within some time and complete the cash withdrawal process.
