In West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee has come under scrutiny. The team of the Central Bureau of Investigation has reached his home to investigate the coal case.
The CBI team is currently at Abhishek Banerjee’s home in Kolkata. Where Banerjee is to be given notice for investigation.

Explain that the CBI had earlier raided 13 places in Bengal on February 19 in connection with the illegal mining and smuggling of coal. These included Jaidev Mandal, who was involved in illegal mining of coal, and the whereabouts of long-running coal mafia Anoop Majhi alias Lala.
During this time, search operations were also carried out in Kolkata, Purulia, Paschim Bardhaman and Bankura.
