The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday for the Class 10 board examination in view of the state of COVID-19 epidemic in the country. As per the policy, while 20 marks for each subject will be for internal assessment every year, 80 marks will be calculated based on the performance of students in various examinations or examinations throughout the year.
According to the policy, like every year 20 marks in each subject will be given internal assessment whereas 80 percent marks will be given on the basis of various examinations conducted during the whole year. CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “Schools will also have to ensure that the marks awarded by them are in line with the school’s performance in the previous board exams of 10th standard. Schools will have to constitute an eight-member committee under the leadership of the headmaster to finalize the results. Schools involved in the evaluation in a biased and discriminatory attitude will be fined or their affiliation will be canceled. ”

CBSE will also award grace marks while calculating the result and if the students do not get the minimum marks to pass the examination.

Examination canceled due to Covid
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) canceled its Class 10 board exams earlier this month and postponed the Class 12 board exams. Following the CBSE decision, many state boards have also postponed or canceled their examinations. Apart from this, the ICSE Class 10 board examination has also been canceled in view of the deteriorating COVID-19 situation.
New date sheet will be released
A revised or new date sheet of Arts, Science and Commerce for Class 12 students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will now be released in June, and subject-wise dates will be updated.
