CBSE action: Recognition of 21 schools canceled, 6 downgraded, see full list here

CBSE has cancelled the affiliation of 21 schools. 6 schools have been downgraded. The official website has released the list of schools.

CBSE Action: The Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the recognition of 21 schools. Most of the schools in this list are located in Delhi. CBSE has also downgraded 6 schools in Delhi. The board has taken strict action against the schools due to violation of rules and malpractices. The list of these schools has been released on the official website www.cbse.gov.in on Wednesday.

With the aim of ensuring compliance with the examination and affiliation bye-laws, CBSE had conducted surprise inspections of various schools across the country. During this, many cases of malpractice came to light. After which the board decided to cancel the recognition and downgrade the schools. Affiliation of 15 schools in Delhi and 5 schools in Rajasthan has been cancelled.
