CBSE Board Result 2024: There will be no division nor any topper in 10th, 12th, this is how you will know about failed pass.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Result 2024: In December last year, the CBSE Board had announced that now it will not divide students into first, second and third divisions on the basis of total marks obtained in the board exams.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Result 2024: 38 lakh students of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are eagerly waiting for their board result (Board Result 2024). There is every possibility of CBSE 10th, 12th board results being released in the month of May. Last year, CBSE Board had announced many major changes. These changes include the format of CBSE board exams along with holding of board exams twice a year and declaration of results. CBSE had said that from the year 2024, it will not reveal the overall division, distinction or aggregate marks of the students appearing in the class 10th and 12th board exams. Neither will it reveal the names of the students who have topped the CBSE 10th, 12th board exams, nor will it release the percentage of the students. CBSE Board Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj had also said that no category, special ability or total marks will be given overall. If a student has appeared in more than five subjects, the admitting institution or employer may decide to consider the best five subjects for him/her.

In December last year, the CBSE board had announced that it will no longer divide students into first, second and third divisions on the basis of total marks obtained in the board exams. The board said that it has also stopped the ‘Distinction’ category given to students who have scored more than 90% marks. It will not calculate the overall percentage of marks for any student. If the percentage of marks in 10th or 12th or both classes is necessary for any higher education or job, then its calculation will be done by the admission institute or the employer of the institute taking admission.

Before this, CBSE does not even release the merit list of the students. CBSE says that the purpose of doing this is to reduce the fear of results in the minds of students and to maintain healthy competition among students.
