PM Modi had a meeting with the Ministry of Education today in view of the demands arising from the cancellation or furthering of CBSE examinations. Only after the decision in this meeting, the Ministry of Education has announced the cancellation and postponement of the examinations.
In view of the fast growing Corona Cases in the country, the CBSE Board has also canceled the board exams of class 10th and 12th, it has been reported in the press release issued by the board. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended the meeting with Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and high officials of the Ministry of Education amid the demand to cancel the CBSE board examinations.
The news of the cancellation of the CBSE examination reached the social media as soon as there was a flood of mimes. On hearing this news, people in the internet world shared tremendous mimes. As a result, CBSE started trending on Twitter too. One user wrote that wow now some children will not have to take exams. What can be good news for them. The pace of corona infection in India seems to be uncontrollable. In the last 24 hours, 1.84 lakh new cases of corona infection have been reported. This is the reason that the demand for cancellation, postponement or online holding of CBSE board exams to be held from May 4 in the country is increasing. Earlier, examiners, parents and teachers demanded to postpone the examinations.
