CBSE Exam 2025: CBSE has issued a guideline regarding the conduct of the students, the rules and dress code they have to follow in the 10th and 12th board exams starting from February 15.

CBSE 10th 12th Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued important guidelines (exam ethics) regarding the 10th 12th board examination starting from 15 February 2025. CBSE has asked all the schools to tell the students the rules and regulations of the examination before the exam. The official notification issued by the CBSE states that to conduct such a big examination, it is necessary to fully comply with the instructions issued by the CBSE. The board said in the notice that it is necessary to conduct a fair examination in the academic interest of the students. In such a situation, detailed unfair means rules have been prepared by the CBSE. It is important that before the commencement of the examination, all the students appearing for the board exam should be informed about the rules of the examination and the instructions issued by the CBSE.

CBSE said that the following things are expected from the schools:

  • Please read the Unfair Means Guidelines (UFM Guidelines) and the penalties that can be imposed.
  • Inform students about the exam procedures and rules and the punishment for doing wrong. Also tell them not to believe rumours. They should not get involved in spreading rumours.
  • Inform the parents of the students about the exam rules and punishment.
  • On the day of the exam, remind the students not to carry any banned items to the exam centre.
  • The officials posted on exam duty should also be informed.

CBSE has also implemented CCTV policy under which all examination rooms/halls will be equipped with CCTV. These are being monitored by Assistant Superintendent (CCTV Monitoring) at each examination centre. After entering the examination centre, possessing, using or attempting to use any electronic device (including mobile phone) which can be used as a communication device will be considered improper act and against the rules.

CBSE has also mentioned the dress code in the notice

  • For regular students – School uniform
  • For private students – Light clothes
  • Things allowed to carry in the exam

a) Admit card and school identity card (for regular students)
