CBSE has released the syllabus of 9th and 12th, where and how can it be downloaded.

CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2024-25: Students can check the subject specific syllabus by visiting the official website.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE): Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the syllabus for classes 9 and 12 for the academic year 2024-25. The curriculum is divided into secondary (classes 9 and 10) and senior secondary (classes 11 and 12) categories. Students can check the subject specific syllabus by visiting the official website.

For Class 10, CBSE mandates five compulsory subjects and two optional subjects, while the Class 12 curriculum includes seven core areas including Languages, Humanities, Maths, Science, Skill Subject, General Studies and Health and Physical Education.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Curriculum Notice for 2024-25: Steps to Check

  • Visit the official website of CBSE www.cbseacademic.nic.in.
  • Now go to the ‘Academic’ tab.
  • You will get a link with the title ‘Secondary and Senior School Curriculum for the session 2024-25’, click on it.
  • Now a new page will open in front of you. There will be a link on this page to open the PDF file, click on it.
  • Now you can check it and also download it.
  • Now take a print out of it so that you have complete information about the syllabus.

CBSE Classes 9 and 10 syllabus for 2024-25

  • Visit the Curriculum Section section of the CBSE website.
  • Click on ‘Secondary Curriculum (IX-X)’ for Class 9-10 syllabus.
  • Access subject wise details and download the respective syllabus.
  • Download subject wise details of syllabus.
  • Select the relevant files based on your class.
  • Now you can also take a print out of them for further reference.

In a recent announcement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release the new syllabus for classes 3 and 6 for the upcoming academic year 2024-25 starting from April and Will present text books. The remaining classes will continue with the existing curriculum and textbooks.

In a notice sent to all affiliated institutions, CBSE said that NCERT, in a letter dated March 18, has disclosed its ongoing development of new syllabus and text books for classes III and VI. Schools have been advised to adopt these new materials in place of NCERT text books by the year 2023.
