CBSE has issued guidelines for the board exams. Dress codes have been prescribed. Let’s know which rules can lead to cancellation of the exam if violated?

CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are scheduled to begin from February 15, 2025. A total of 204 subjects will be examined at various examination centers across the country. More than 44 lakh students will appear in it. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued guidelines regarding the board examination. Rules have been set for schools and students, which will lead to strict action if not followed.

In the notice, CBSE said, “Detailed unfair means rules have been prepared. Schools should inform all the students appearing in the board examination about the ethics of the examination, their rules and instructions issued by CBSE. Further CBSE said that this message will be available in the admit card. Nevertheless, schools should spread this information among their students and sensitize them. Create general awareness towards prohibiting the use of unfair behavior in the examination hall or center.

These instructions were given to the schools (CBSE Board Exam 2025)

CBSE asked the schools to read the UFM instructions and punishments. Provide information related to exam ethics and punishments to students and parents. Tell them that those who spread rumors should be involved. So that the examination can be conducted smoothly. The board has also instructed the schools to give this information to the officers posted on examination duty.

CCTV policy will be implemented

This year CCTV policy will be implemented in the board examination. CCTV cameras will be fitted in all the examination halls at every examination center. Monitoring will be done by CCTV cameras. If any student is found with electronic devices such as mobile phones etc. after entering the examination center. Or if any student is involved in spreading rumors, which affects the conduct of the examination. So in such cases, the examination of full subjects of the current as well as the next year will be canceled. Students will not be eligible to take the full subject examination.

What will be the dress code?

Regular students will appear in their school uniforms in the board examination. At the same time, CBSE has advised private students to wear light and simple clothes. Carrying wallets, glasses, handbags, pouches etc. will not be allowed. Carrying stationery items, food items etc. will be prohibited. However, students suffering from diabetes have been allowed to carry food items.

Do not write such things in the question paper

Do not use obscene or abusive language in the answer sheet. Do not use threatening language with or without any appeal to the evaluators and do not use language/threat of self harm while answering. Do not use any other ink or pencil for writing answers in the answer sheet. Attaching any currency note or other such instrument with the answer sheet with or without any appeal message will not be accepted for evaluation. In such a case, the UFM committee will advise them not to use such language in the answer sheets in future examinations. The notes or currency will be confiscated and deposited in the Board’s account.

Must follow these rules

  • Students should not carry previous year question papers with them.
  • Do not write questions or answers on any material other than the answer sheet.
  • Do not try to contact or communicate with any person other than the examination staff at the time of examination in the examination center.
  • Do not violate the instructions issued by CBSE from time to time regarding the conduct of the examination rules.
  • Do not make the mistake of pasting or uploading fake photos on the admit card.
  • Do not erase any information printed on the answer sheets.
  • Do not write any wrong information on the answer sheet.
  • Students should not keep hard copy IT with them. Its use will be considered against the rules.
  • Do not communicate directly or indirectly with any other classical assistant or superintendent.
  • Do not help other students to engage in malpractice. Do not try to give any kind of help to other students directly or indirectly.
  • The mistake of taking the answer sheet out of the examination center or examination hall will prove costly.
  • Do not take the question paper or any part of it out of the examination hall.
  • After entering the examination center, do not keep any electronic device with you. Nor use it.
