CBSE 10th, 12th Supplementary Exams 2024 Dates: Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has released the results of 10th and 12th board exams. Along with this, the dates of supplementary exam have also been announced. According to CBSE, supplementary examinations for class 10th and 12th will start from July 15. CBSE officials said that this year, 1,22,170 students and more than 1.32 lakh students have been placed in the ‘compartment’ category in class 12th.
One subject of 12th and two subjects of 10th can be given in supplementary exam.
CBSE’s Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that 12th students can give only one supplementary examination. On the other hand, students of class 10th can give supplementary examination of two subjects. 10th students who have not been able to pass in two subjects can give supplementary exam. Students of class 12th who have failed in one subject can give compartment exam. Students who have passed after removing the sixth and seventh subjects and those students who have passed but are not happy with their performance can give this examination.
93.60 percent students passed 10th, 87.98 percent students passed 12th examination.
According to CBSE, this year a total of 93.60 percent students have passed the 10th examination. The pass percentage in the year 2023 was 93.12 percent. This year a total of 22,51,812 students had registered. In this, 22,38,827 students have appeared for the examination, out of which 20,95,467 students have passed. Talking about class 12th, there has been a partial increase in the passing percentage as compared to last year and it has increased from 87.33 to 87.98 percent.
First Division, Second Division classification abolished
CBSE officials said that classification into first, second and third class on the basis of marks has also been abolished. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj told PTI, “As per the decision taken in the board to prevent unhealthy competition among students, CBSE is not releasing the merit list. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 percent students who have secured the highest marks in various subjects.
