CBSE Syllabus Change: CBSE clarifies, there is no change in the curriculum, studies will be done from old books

No Syllabus Change: The Central Board of Secondary Education has said that except for classes 3 and 6, there will be no changes in the curriculum for any other class.

CBSE Says No Syllabus Change: The Central Board i.e. CBSE has made it clear that for the academic session 2024-25, only the syllabus of class 3 and 6 has been changed. Apart from this, no change has been made in the curriculum of any other class. All other classes will be taught from the old text book only. Neither the curriculum has been changed nor any change has been made in the text book of any other class.

Notice issued

CBSE has issued a notice in this regard and has asked all the Central Board affiliated schools to continue studying from the old text book for all classes except class 3 and 6. These are the same books which were used in the academic year 2023-24.

New books are being published

The board said that the National Council of Educational Research and Training has informed CBSE through a letter that the new books for grades 3 and 6 as per the new syllabus are still under development and will be released soon.

Till then, schools have been instructed to follow the new syllabus of classes 3 and 6. Along with this, NCERT has also thought of creating a bridge course, which will help the students to understand the new syllabus and will also help in studying in a new way.

Apart from this, there will be no change

Apart from this, no change has been made in the curriculum of any other class. From the beginning of the new session i.e. from April 1, studies will be done from books based on the previous curriculum. From teachers to parents and students, do not get confused and continue studying from the old text book.

Visit this website

CBSE has also clarified that the curriculum for the year 2024-25 is given on the CBSE website. From here the candidates can get proper information about it. To do this, the address of the official website of the board is – cbsecaademic.nic.in. From here you can find out the curriculum of your class and get any information about it in detail.

Information will be given about new changes

This time the syllabus of class 3 and 6 has been changed and new books are being made. If there is any change in the book of any other class, then its information will be given to the candidates on time and it will also be published on the website. Do not have any doubt in your mind regarding this.
