Central government blocks 14 Apps: Based on the report of Defense Forces and Investigation Agency, the Central Government has taken a big step and blocked 14 messenger apps. If reports are to be believed, with the help of these blocked mobile messenger apps, terrorists used to send secret messages to Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in the Kashmir Valley.

According to the information received, when the government tried to collect information about this application, the representatives of these apps were not from India. Despite this, the agencies tried several times to contact the management of these apps, but no office was present in the country to contact them.

These apps were blocked

In view of the security of the country, the central government has taken a big decision to block these 14 messenger mobile applications. These include apps like Crypvisor, Enigma, SafeSwiss, Vikerme, Mediafire, Briar, Beechat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Element, Jangi, Threema, and Second Line.

These applications used to help such terrorists

Most of these applications were designed in such a way that users could easily hide their identity. Along with this, such features were included in these apps, which made it very difficult to find out about the organizations related to terrorists. According to the security agencies, all these apps used to support terrorists and their supporters in participating in the activities.

These apps have been blocked earlier also

Significantly, at the beginning of the year itself, the central government had blocked about 125 loan and betting apps with connections to China. Taking strict action against 138 betting apps and 94 loan giving apps, which were a major threat to the security of the country, the central government had blocked them. Let us tell you, most of these apps were not available on the Play Store for download on smartphones, but the report said that betting apps and games can be downloaded from third party links or websites. Bank Holidays in May 2023: Banks will remain closed for 12 days, know when and why
