Corona Vaccineation Rollout: Serum Institute of India (SII) has said that it has received a purchase order of the Oxford-Estrogena Covid-19 vaccine from the center. The institute received the purchase order from the Government of India on Monday afternoon.
The Serum Institute of India has prepared Oxford University and AstraZeneca vaccines (Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine) in India. In India, this vaccine has been manufactured in the name of Covishield and this vaccine was approved for emergency use earlier this month. Along with Kovishield, the Government of India had also approved the use of Bharat Biotech’s indigenous vaccine ‘Covaxin’ for emergency.
It is being told that the Central Government has ordered 11 million or 1.10 crore doses of Kovishield to Serum Institute.

Corona vaccine price is 200 rupees
The Serum Institute of India has also revealed the prices of Corona Vaccine Covishield. SII has said that the price of Kovishield has been fixed at Rs 200 per dose. The institute says that the first 100 million doses of corona vaccine will be supplied to the government at Rs 200 per dose.
Covid-19 vaccination rollout from January 16
A vaccination campaign will be started against Corona in India from January 16. In the first phase, 3 crore corona warriors and front line workers will be vaccinated. In the first phase, 3 crore people will be vaccinated and in this phase, corona warriors and front line workers will be vaccinated. The central government has said that they will bear the cost of the vaccine of these people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today talked to the Chief Ministers of the states through a video conference and reviewed the preparations for vaccination.
