A total of 84 percent of Corona cases across the country are in eight states Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.




Anemia crisis in Maharashtra

Maharashtra is the state where Corona has targeted the most people. The great thing is that due to Corona’s attack, there has been a problem of anemia in Maharashtra. Blood bank has now claimed to have seven to eight days of blood left. After which the Health Minister of Maharashtra has appealed to people to donate blood.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that the highest number of infections have occurred in a single day since the onset of the epidemic. The number of infected in the city has increased to 4 lakh 23 thousand 360. 18 more patients died in Mumbai due to infection. This is the highest number of deaths in one day since the first week of December last year. So far, 11 thousand 704 people have died in the city.

New cases close to 3,000 in Delhi

There were 2,790 new cases in the capital on Thursday. 1,121 patients recovered and 9 infected died. So far, 6.65 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic, 6.43 lakh have been cured and 11,036 have lost their lives. Currently, 10,498 are undergoing treatment.

Newly infected again crosses 3,000 in Punjab

On Thursday, 3,161 new patients were found in the state. 2,291 recovered, while 58 died. So far, 2.42 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.11 lakh have been cured, while 6,926 have died. Currently, 24,644 people are being treated.

More than 1.5 million people got vaccinated on the first day of the third phase
The third phase of vaccination started across the country from Thursday. On the first day, 15 lakh 28 thousand 639 people aged 45 or older were given the vaccine. According to the Health Ministry, till 6 pm on April 1, a total of 6.75 crore people have been vaccinated across the country. These include 4 crore 1 lakh 6 thousand 304 people aged 45 years and above.

How many people have been vaccinated so far?

So far, the first dose has been given to 88 lakh 48 thousand 558 health workers across the country. 52 lakh 63 thousand 108 health workers have taken the second dose. Front line workers 93 lakh 99 thousand 776 have taken the first dose and 39 lakh 18 thousand 646 people have taken the second dose.
