Chandrayaan-3 LIVE updates: In less than 100 hours, Chandrayaan-3 will make its first attempt to land on Moon’s south polar region. The ISRO’s ambitious mission will soft-land on the Moon on 23 August.
ISRO announced the date and time of the historic landing through a tweet, which read

The lander module is set to touch down on the Moon’s surface on August 23, making India the fourth nation after the US, China, and Russia to achieve this feat. Chandrayaan-3 is set to land on the Moon on August 23, 2023, around 18:04 Hrs. IST.
Chandrayaan, which means “moon vehicle” in Sanskrit, has been built on a budget of just under ₹615 crore. The approved cost of Chandrayaan-3 is ₹250 crore (excluding launch vehicle cost).
