Booking a domestic LPG cylinder has become even easier. Now customers will be able to choose their desired distributor. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has started a convenient system for booking LPG cylinders. This arrangement is about refill portability. At the time of booking the cylinder, the customer can avail the facility of portability if he wants. For this, Indian Oil has created a mobile app. The name of this app is ‘One App’.
Apart from One App, one can also visit Indian Oil website http://cx.indianoil.in to choose the desired distributor. After clicking on this link, customers can select the refill distributor according to their choice. On this app or website, complete information about the distributor present in the customer’s area will be available. As and when the customer books the refill, he will get the freedom to choose the distributor. At the time of booking, the customer will also be able to select the distributor so that he will be booked for LPG cylinder.
How to book

You can also book cylinder from UMANG
Refill booking can also be done from UMANG app. This is a government app on which many facilities are available simultaneously. You can pay for refill booking from Bharat Bill Pay System App. For refill booking, the customer is getting many more facilities, such as payment can also be done through e-commerce app Amazon and Paytm. Customers will be able to choose the distributor of their Gas Company (OMC) from their registered login. It has to be kept in mind here that Indane customers will be able to order cylinders only from the Indane distributor of their area and not from the distributor of Hindustan Petroleum.
Porting of LGP like mobile
In case of portability, the source distributor (the agency from which the LPG connection is taken) can explain it to his customer and prepare him to accept the cylinder. It completely depends on the customer whether he takes portability or prefers to take the cylinder from his old agency. For this, the source distributor cannot put any kind of pressure on the customer. Like it happens in the mobile port, when the customer requests the port, the source company sends a message and requests to stop the port.
The source company requests the customer to cancel the port. Now it depends on the customer whether he cancels the port or goes to another company. The same rule has been applied in refill booking as well. If the LPG customer wishes, the portability can be canceled within 3 days. After 3 days, the LPG connection will go to the distributor having the port.
