Old checkbook will not run from October 1
From October 1, checkbooks and MICR codes of three banks will become invalid. These banks are Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), United Bank of India and Allahabad Bank. From October 1, Aadhaar and Permanent Account Number ie PAN Card will become useless. Actually, the deadline for linking PAN number with Aadhaar number is till September 30, 2021. If someone does not link his PAN with Aadhaar during this period, then his PAN card will be deactivated from 1 October 2021.
