CM Awas Yojana: There is good news for the Banjara caste people of Uttar Pradesh. The government has also included the Banjara caste living in rural areas in the priority category of the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural). In this regard, the Rural Development Department has also issued a government order on Thursday.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that during his tour of rural areas, he came to know that people of Banjara caste do not get the benefit of Chief Minister Housing Scheme. His name is not included in the list. In such a situation, keeping in mind the needs of the people of this caste, it has been decided to provide the benefits of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. It is noteworthy that last year, disabled people were also included in the list of beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. After which this year around 70 thousand disabled people were given houses in UP.
Who is being given accommodation?
Under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural), houses will be provided to families affected by different conditions in rural areas. These situations can happen-
Families affected by natural disaster, Kala-azar, Vantangiya, Musahar, Kol, Sahariya, Tharu, Lohar, Chero, Baiga, Nat, Divyaganjan, leprosy affected families.
