Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the second phase of ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’ on Wednesday.

Special provision has been made in the Ujjwala 2.0 scheme for those migrant laborers who were earlier deprived of this benefit due to lack of proof of address. Under Ujjwala Yojana 1.0, 01 crore 47 lakh LPG connections have been given in the state. This is the highest free LPG connection in the entire country. Now taking this forward, 20 lakh new beneficiaries will get LPG connection under Ujjwala 2.0.
