The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.1 degrees, which is one degree below normal. SPS Mayur Vihar was the coldest area in Delhi, where the maximum temperature was 11.9 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of Lodhi Road was 13 degrees and the minimum was 6 degrees Celsius.
Possibility of relief after January 23: The maximum temperature in Delhi on Saturday is expected to be around 15 degrees and minimum around seven degrees. Visibility may remain zero in the morning. At the same time, on Sunday also the maximum temperature in Delhi will be around 16 degrees. The weather is likely to improve after January 23.

More than 50 trains coming to Delhi from different states arrived late, while more than 12 trains departed late. Many trains reached Delhi late by four to six hours on Friday. Electricity demand reaches record level in winter
As winter progresses, electricity consumption has increased. Now the record has been made for the third time in January. The demand for electricity in Delhi at 1020 am on Friday had reached 5798 MW, which was the highest till date. Earlier on January 12 it was 5701 MW. Companies say that demand has increased due to increase in use of geysers and heaters in the morning. According to power companies, despite increase in consumption, there is no complaint of cut in any area. Uninterrupted power supply continued in Delhi. For the third time this month the demand for electricity has crossed 5700 MW. Earlier the demand was 5701 MW on 12th January and 5726 MW on 17th January. According to BSES, despite the increase in demand for electricity, there has been no interruption in supply.
