Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced her third budget. This budget speech, which was presented in the Corona-era, also started with a reference to Corona and lockdown. In the initial part of the budget, there was a lot of mention of the package and vaccines issued by the government to deal with the corona. It was also told how India was ahead in the fight against Corona. Simultaneously, there was talk of Haridwar Mahakumbh. When the Finance Minister started reading Part A of the budget speech, it also started with self-reliant India. It was described as the sentiment of 130 crore Indians.

In this 110-minute budget speech, Nirmala Sitharaman used the word ‘tax’ the most. The second number was pronounced ‘Infrastructure’ and on the third number was the word ‘Kisan’. After the budget, PM Modi also said that there are villages and farmers at the heart of the budget.

The Finance Minister used the word Kovid seven times, Pandemic seven times, Prime Minister 6 times, Tax 131 times, Farmer 18 times and Infrastructure 57th. GST was spoken 15 times in the budget speech.
