The second wave of Corona is setting new records continuously. As of Tuesday night, 185,248 new cases of infection were reported in the country. This is the highest number of new infections found in a day since the onset of the epidemic. According to the Union Health Ministry, 1025 people died during this period. The total number of infected people has so far increased to 1,38,70,731. The recovery rate for people suffering from corona has fallen further to 89.51 percent.
According to the data, the total number of deaths from the epidemic has increased to 1,72,114. The number of people under treatment has also increased to 13,60,330, which is 9.24 percent of the total cases of infection. So far 1,23,32,636 corona patients have been cured, corona mortality is 1.25 percent. Of the 1025 corona infected who died during 24 hours in the country, 281 are from Maharashtra, 156 from Chhattisgarh, 61 from Karnataka, 85 from Uttar Pradesh and 81 from Delhi.
25.9 crore tests: According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 25,92,07,108 samples have been tested till April 12, out of which 14,00,122 samples were tested on Monday.
58% new cases in four states including UP:
Most of the new cases of infections coming up in the country in one day are from 10 states. The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that daily cases are increasing in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Kerala. Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 60,212 new cases. After this, 18,021 cases have been reported in Uttar Pradesh, 15,121 cases in Chhattisgarh and 13,468 new cases in Delhi. These four states account for 57.9 percent of the total new infections.
Corona rate in Rajasthan is around 22 percent:
In Rajasthan, the rate of infection has risen to about 22 percent in about two weeks after the second wave of global epidemic corona spread rapidly. By April 1, in the second wave of Corona, new cases had crossed one thousand in one day and after that it increased continuously till Monday it reached 5771. This is the largest figure ever. On April 1, the rate of infection was 3.68 percent due to 1350 new cases which increased to 21.92 percent on April 12.
4,228 new cases of corona in Andhra Pradesh
On Tuesday, 4,228 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Andhra Pradesh, the highest daily number of cases in the last six months. The number of patients undergoing treatment for Kovid-19 in the state also increased to 25,850, the highest since October 30. A health bulletin said that 1,483 patients were cured in the last 24 hours till 9 am Tuesday, while 10 patients died. In Andhra Pradesh, the number of people infected so far has increased to 9,32,892, while a total of 8,99,721 patients have become infection free. At the same time, 7,321 patients died.
