New receipts of the World Health Organization have also been included in the information released by the government on Wednesday. Apart from this, the government has advised about the medicines being used during the treatment of the disease.
The government incorporated the WHO information into the new Kovid’s protocol. It was said that Sars-Cov-2 could spread through the air. Apart from this, in the new rules, the government has said that steroids, remadecivir and tocilizumab are used properly. After recovering from the disease, the government has asked them to use these medicines judiciously to avoid complications. Emphasis on black fungus
Experts were anticipating that steroids being used in the treatment of a patient struggling with Kovid-19 may cause a major cause of black fungus. The number of patients with mucoramycosis is increasing steadily in the country. This rare fungal infection has been declared an epidemic in many states including Rajasthan, Punjab. In the past, AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria also advised judicious use of steroids.
According to the news agency ANI, the Health Ministry has reported that the recovery rate in the country has risen to 89.66 percent. The weekly positivity rate is 11.45 percent and the daily rate is 9.42 percent. The positivity rate has remained below 10 percent for two consecutive days.
On Tuesday, 2 lakh 8 thousand 921 new patients of Corona were found in the country. During this time, once again the death toll crossed four thousand. Including the new figures, the number of corona patients in India has reached 2 crore 71 lakh 57 thousand 795. Whereas, 3 lakh 11 thousand 388 patients have lost their lives so far.
