Earlier, the Delhi government had imposed the weekend curfew. Despite all efforts of the government, there are record cases of corona in the capital.
In the past day, 25,462 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi in one day, after which the rate of infection has increased to 29.74 percent. The rate of infection is 29.74 percent, which means that almost every third sample in Delhi has turned out to be Corona positive. This information was given by the Health Department. Meanwhile, 161 more patients died in Delhi, after which the number of deaths has increased to 12,121.
So far, 7.66 lakh patients have recovered from Corona in Delhi
With the arrival of these new cases in Delhi, the total number of infected people in the national capital so far has increased to 8,53,460. So far, more than 7.66 lakh patients have been cured in Delhi. At the same time, the number of cases under treatment has increased to 74,941 as compared to 69,799 a day ago. The number of people living in isolation in the house has increased to 34,938. Out of 17,514 beds available for corona virus patients in Delhi, 3,627 are empty.
Delhi government is preparing two thousand beds
Due to the increasing cases of Corona, beds are not left vacant in the hospitals of the capital, due to which Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that 1,400 to 2,000 beds will be ready for Kovid-19 patients in the city in the next two days. He reviewed the construction of Kovid care center there by visiting Yamuna Sports venue and Commonwealth Games Village. Yamuna is preparing 500-500 beds at the sports venue and Commonwealth Games Village, while 100 beds are being arranged in a government school in Delhi.
New corona cases in the country exceeded 2.7 lakh
During the last 24 hours, 2,73,810 new cases of corona have been reported in the country, which are the highest number of cases in a day. With this, the total cases of infection reached more than 1.50 crores. The number of under-treated patients in the country has also gone up to more than 19 lakhs. This information has been provided by the Union Ministry of Health. There are a total of 1,50,61,919 cases of Kovid-19 in the country and the death toll rose to 1,78,769 due to the death of 1,619 people within a day.
