New Delhi The Chief Scientific Advisor of the Central Government, Vijay Raghavan said that if precautions are taken, we can prevent the third wave of epidemic corona virus. He said that if all are cautious and follow the guidelines, perhaps a third wave of corona will occur in some places or nowhere. Raghavan said that if necessary measures were adopted, there would not be a third wave of Corona in every part of the country. Earlier on Thursday, he had said that a third wave of Corona would definitely come in the country. Following his remarks, the threat of corona in the country was expected to increase further. Giving clarification on this, Raghavan said on Friday that if care is taken, it will not come everywhere. The epidemic has seen different peaks in all parts of the country.
It is not difficult to stop the third wave of Corona
Raghavan said that whether or not the third wave of Corona will come depends on how we all follow the guidelines. At the individual level, at the local level, at the state level and everywhere, if you take precautions and follow the guidelines, you can prevent the third wave of corona from coming. He said that it sounds difficult to hear and speak but it is possible. He said that it is not difficult to stop the corona by following the guidelines regarding precautions, surveillance, containerization, testing and treatment.
Infection increases when the corona virus gets a chance
Raghavan said that peaks have come at different times in different places all over the world and in India and it is important to understand when and why the infection increases. He said that the infection increases when the corona virus gets a chance. If he does not get a chance, he will not be able to get infected either.
If the virus gets new opportunities then the cases will also increase.
He said- People who have taken the vaccine, wear masks, take full precautions are safe. But if the virus gets new opportunities then the cases will also increase. There may also be people who were cautious at first but later became careless. In such a case, cases increase. He said that it is in our hands to reduce the size of outbreak of corona and reduce its frequency. He said that such people who are infected but without symptoms, they can infect others, so more caution is needed.
