At present, the total number of active cases in the country is now 2,88,394 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,11,07,332.
According to the report of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 23,24,31,517 sample tests have been done so far. A sample of 10,60,971 people has been tested on Friday.
Restrictions have been tightened since Friday in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in Maharashtra and Punjab. Chief Minister of western state Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray said that lockdown is also an option. At the same time, there are more than 40 thousand cases of infection in the country, which is the highest number of cases in one day in about four months. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, Harsh Vardhan, on Friday, dismissed the apprehensions about the corona virus vaccines, which said that after a worldwide scientific analysis, the vaccines have been approved and we should believe them.
Corona figures in Delhi
On Friday, 716 new cases of corona virus were reported in Delhi, which is the highest daily cases so far this year, while four more people died of the disease. The health department gave this information. The number of patients under treatment increased to 3,165 from 2,924 a day earlier and 6.32 lakh people have been cured so far. The infection rate increased from 0.76 percent to 0.93 percent. After 716 new cases, the total cases of infection in the national capital increased to 6,46,348. The death toll rose to 10,953 with the death of four more people due to the disease.
