The Corporate Affairs Ministry has made the process of e-filing of various documents under the trade law easier. The Ministry has today launched the first phase of the third model (V3.0) of MCA21. Through this new website, it will be easy for corporations to submit the necessary paperwork and filing. Through this, information of public entries will be easily available to the company. The second phase of MCA21 V3.0 can also be launched by October this year.
This website was launched by Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur. This revised website will have new e-mail IDs of the companies. During this time he also launched two new digital modules for books and sessions.
The new e-mail service will provide better options and capabilities for internal organizations and managed communications in addition to external stakeholders. In this regard, Corporate Affairs Secretary Rajesh Verma said that e-filing of MCA21 V3.0 documents will remove the tension of attachment. Also, the pre-fill mechanism will also become stronger.
It is to be known that in his budget speech in February this year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning-driven MCA21 version 3.0 will be launched in FY 2021-22. Under this, the first phase of version 3.0 has been introduced. Through this, there will be additional modules for e-investigation, e-decision, e-consultation and compliance management.
What is MCA21
It is a portal in which all information from registration of companies is available on digital platform. Companies can register themselves through this website. At the same time, already registered companies can file important information including annual returns, balance sheet, name, address and information of directors in electronic form. In this way it acts as an electronic registry.
