New Delhi. The speed of the second wave of Corona virus is now seen to be slowing down. Now the number of corona infected patients is decreasing rapidly in all the states of the country. According to the data of the Ministry of Health , 94 thousand 52 cases of corona were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 6148 patients have died. After the arrival of new cases of corona, now the total number of infected patients in the country has gone up to 2 crore 91 lakh 83 thousand 121. Let us inform that the Bihar government has made drastic changes in the death figures, due to which the death toll of corona patients has increased.
According to the Ministry of Health , so far there are 11 lakh 67 thousand 952 active cases from corona in the country, while 2 crore 76 lakh 55 thousand 493 people have recovered and gone to their homes. On Wednesday, 10,989 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra and 261 patients died. In the last 24 hours, 16,379 patients were also cured. According to the Health Department, with new cases, the total number of infected has increased to 58,63,880 and the death toll to 1,01,833. For the last two days in Maharashtra, the number of new cases of infection is staying around 10 thousand. Earlier on March 9, 9927 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra.
5384 new cases of corona infection were reported in West Bengal
After the confirmation of 5384 more patients of corona virus in West Bengal, the total cases have gone up to 14,42,830, while the death toll has risen to 16,555 after 95 deaths due to infection. According to the Health Department, North 24 Parganas district has the highest number of 20 deaths, after which 17 infected have died in Kolkata. 53 out of 95 deaths are already due to some other disease. 10,512 more patients have recovered from the infection, after which the number of infected patients has reached 14,11,573. 14,702 patients are undergoing treatment for infection in the state.
10 more patients died of corona in Gujarat
On Wednesday, 644 more patients of corona virus were confirmed in Gujarat and 10 infected people died. After this, the total cases in the state have gone up to 8,18,351 while the death toll has reached 9,965. An official of the Health Department said that 1675 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the infection during the day, after which the number of people who became infection free has increased to 7,94,703.
Bihar changed Corona death figures, 3951 dead and added
On Wednesday, the state health department made a huge revision in the death toll due to corona virus infection in Bihar, taking the total death toll from this epidemic to 9429, which was 5478 on Wednesday. According to the Health Department, in addition to the number of people who died of corona virus infection till Wednesday, besides the number of deaths of 5478, additional death figures of 3951 other people have been added after verification. The data released by the department, however, did not specify when the additional deaths occurred.
