Active case in the country crosses 28 lakhs

According to the statistics, 1 crore 43 lakh 04 thousand 382 people have been cured across the country so far from Kovid-19. However, in the last few days, there has been a steady decline in the rate of recovery and it has come down to 82.62 percent. With this, active cases are increasing continuously and 28 lakh 13 thousand 658 people are being treated across the country, which is 16.25 percent of the total number of infected people.

773 people lost their lives in 24 hours in Maharashtra

Maharashtra is the worst affected in the second wave of Corona virus and despite all restrictions, record cases are coming up. According to the data released by the state Health Department, the total number of infected people has increased to 41,61,676 after 66,836 new cases were reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours on Sunday. After the death of 773 more people, this figure has also risen to 63,252. So far, 34,04,792 people have been cured after defeating the disease.

Corona virus crisis deepens in Delhi too

Along with Maharashtra, the corona virus crisis is getting deeper in Delhi and new cases are constantly increasing. Along with this, there is a shortage of beds and oxygen in hospitals. In the last 24 hours in Delhi, 24331 new cases of corona were reported and 348 died. With this, the active cases have increased to 92029 in Delhi.

Delhi getting less oxygen than required: officials



Amid increasing cases of corona virus infection, Delhi government officials said that the national capital has received far less medical oxygen than it needs. Delhi requires 700 metric tons of oxygen daily. While the central and city governments are embroiled in a verbal war on this issue, the city’s hospitals, especially private hospitals, are facing a shortage of medical oxygen for serious patients of Kovid.
