Covid deceased: IDFC First Bank offers 4 times CTC and two years salary

IDFC First Bank has announced to give relief to the families of the employees who lost their lives in the covid mahamari. The bank will offer 4 times CTC to the families of the deceased employees. Along with this, salary will also be given for two years. Not only this, the bank will also waive their loans so that there is no financial burden on the family.


Bank’s MD and CEO V Vaidyanathan said that the employees of banks are mostly young. His family has been shocked by the accident in Covid. That’s why we are starting a program in which everyone is covered. We are increasing the annual CTC by four times. Salary will also be given for two years. With this the family members will earn their livelihood.

Vaidyanathan said that if an employee has taken a personal loan, car loan, two-wheeler loan or education loan, it will be completely waived off. Not only this, housing loans up to Rs 25 lakh will also be waived. For example, if someone has taken a loan up to Rs 30 lakh, then the bank will waive 25 lakh. The rest of the loan family will be able to repay from the salary given by the bank.

Earlier, Reliance Industries had announced that the company will give full salary every month for 5 years to the family of the employee who dies due to Corona. This amount of salary will be based on the last salary received by the deceased employee.


Earlier, Tata Steel and Tata Motors have made such an announcement for their employees. The Tata Motors management said that after the death due to Corona, the company will continue to give half of the basic salary every month to the family of the deceased employee. Apart from this, immediate and lump sum amount up to Rs 60 lakh will be given to the family of the deceased. The family of the deceased employee will continue to receive this amount as long as the service life of the deceased remains.

At the same time, Tata Steel has announced to pay the last salary till the period of service to the heirs of the deceased employee from Corona. Not only will the family of the deceased get all the facilities of medical and treatment till the service period of the deceased employee, permission will also be given to stay in the company quarters. Reliance has also announced to give a lump sum of Rs 10 lakh to the dependents of its employees in such a situation.
