ICICI Bank has integrated RuPay credit card with UPI, through which users will be able to make payment directly from the credit card through the bank account by scanning the UPI QR code.
ICICI Bank Credit Card UPI Payment: Private bank ICICI Bank has given important news to its customers. Now Rupay credit cardholders of the bank will be able to do UPI transactions from their cards. The bank has integrated RuPay credit card with UPI, through which users will be able to scan the UPI QR code and make payment directly from the credit card through the bank account. According to the bank’s website, P2M i.e. Peer to Merchant UPI transaction can be done with RuPay Credit Card.
You can make UPI payment for all expenses through credit card
Credit card holders of ICICI Bank will be able to make UPI payments through their credit cards for all expenses like shopping, dining, fuel, online shopping, bill paying etc. ICICI Bank, in partnership with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India), can now link RuPay Credit Cards like Coral, HPCL Super Saver, and Rubyx to UPI.

How to link ICICI Bank RuPay Credit Card with UPI?
- Open the iMobile Pay app in your phone.
- Now select ‘UPI Transactions’ on the app.
- Click on ‘Manage’.
- Go to ‘My Profile’.
- Click on ‘Link Your RuPay Credit Card to UPI’.
- Enter the VPA ID of your choice and see if it is available or not.
- Click on ‘Proceed’.
- Select the RuPay Credit Card number you want to link.
- Click on ‘Confirm’.
How to make UPI payment through credit card?
For iMobile:
Once ICICI Bank RuPay Credit Card is linked to the iMobile app, you will have to make UPI payment by following the steps given below.
Scan QR:
Open Scan -> Scan the QR code -> Select “Pay with RuPay Credit Card” -> Click on Confirm Payment.
UPI VPA Payment:
Enter VPA at the merchant -> Login iMobile -> Go to UPI Transactions -> Go to Payment Requests -> Accept Payment – Confirm.
