Credit Cards Close: Big news for bank customers! This bank’s debit and credit cards will not work on 4th and 6th June, know the reason?

HDFC Bank has informed its customers through e-mail and SMS that the bank’s debit and credit cards will not be working for some time on June 4 and June 6.

New Delhi: An important update has come for the customers of the leading private bank HDFC Bank. For two days this week, customers will not be able to do any transaction with the bank’s card. In this regard, HDFC Bank has informed its customers through mail and SMS. The bank said that none of the bank’s cards will work on Tuesday, June 4, from 12:30 to 2:30 a.m. and on June 6, between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.

No payment mode will work

The bank informed in an email sent to its customers that the bank is upgrading the system for its debit card, credit card and pre-paid card service, due to which the facilities will remain closed during this time period. According to the information given by the bank, during this time the facilities of ATM, card swipe machine, online payment gateway and Netsafe transaction will remain closed.

Facilities were closed a few days ago too

Let us tell you that earlier on May 25, HDFC Bank’s net banking and mobile banking facility was disrupted for some time. During this time, the company had said that HDFC Bank has scheduled maintenance at 3.30 am on May 25. Due to which many services including UPI, net banking and mobile banking will be disrupted.

The bank changed the SMS rules

It is known that the private bank has changed its SMS related rules this month. The bank recently said that now SMS updates will be given only for transactions above Rs 100 (money sent / paid) and Rs 500 (money received). The bank had informed the customers about this through e-mail and SMS. The e-mail sent by HDFC Bank said that email alerts starting June 25, 2024: Continue to receive email alerts for all UPI transactions. While SMS notifications will now be available only on transactions above Rs 100 (money sent / paid) and Rs 500 (money received).
